Bork's law

Whatever can bork will bork, and at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way. And when it does bork, it will -- without a shadow of a doubt -- leave a trail of borkage along it's way.

Guru Fridge Unboxing

| | Comments (3)

It's no secret that we are big Guru fans here at the office and we are quite vocal about it too.

Seems like the word got around (thanks Albert and Martin!) and I got a call last monday from one of the co-founder of this Montreal based success story known officially as Guru Energy Drinks.

I was told we would receive a mini-fridge and six free cases of all the Guru flavors... the next day!

We received it around noon the next day indeed, here's a few shots of the unboxing.

Pepsi RAW

This one's for Stephane (and me), a "healthy" cola; Pepsi RAW - an all-natural drink made from apple extract, plain caramel coloring, coffee leaf, tantaric acid from grapes, gum arabic, cane sugar and sparkling water. After the NYTimes story that detailed the claim that phosphoric acid can lead to kidney stones and other renal problems, this blogger is no longer drinking cola with said acid... but is looking forward to RAW and the Coke version which should follow shortly. Chien-Chaud Victoire
Not the greatest culinary experience in Montréal, but still for a friday lunch quick fix, this is probably the most genuine roteux you can get... It shows up quite nicely on the Praized internal Beta, with the english name.
