This one's for Stephane (and me), a "healthy" cola; Pepsi RAW - an all-natural drink made from apple extract, plain caramel coloring, coffee leaf, tantaric acid from grapes, gum arabic, cane sugar and sparkling water. After the NYTimes story that detailed the claim that phosphoric acid can lead to kidney stones and other renal problems, this blogger is no longer drinking cola with said acid... but is looking forward to RAW and the Coke version which should follow shortly. Chien-Chaud Victoire
Not the greatest culinary experience in Montréal, but still for a friday lunch quick fix, this is probably the most genuine roteux you can get... It shows up quite nicely on the Praized internal Beta, with the english name.

Dear brethren of thy Praized shire,

It has cometh to thyne attention that with all those widgets and static vote badges and the multi-host environment of aforementioned thingamabobs we are crusading on the path to inevitable requirement of what I shall henceforth call "Image Server". One place to store thyne images like Praized Logos and Vote Badges and general "need to access from anywhere" art pieces.

Until we have such an accoutrement, I shall confer with Sir Colin Surprenant, "knight of the round table with arrows and a big white circle" as to where I shall put thyne images.

No blocker, just a thought.

Yours Truly - That weird left-fielder.

Time to release the inner geek in me.  Even though I'm known as the marketing guy at Praized Media (I'm actually the product guy, but I digress...), I did spend most of my teenage years playing Advanced Dungeons & Dragons in my friends' basements.  I have very fond memories of the camaraderie happening around the game table.

So, it was with sadness that I learned of the passing of Gary Gygax, the game's creator.  I owe this game (and this man by extension) a lot as this is where I learned to become a savvy business strategist.  Don't believe what people are telling you!  You don't learn to quickly analyze multiple concurrent events and make sense of chaotic (no pun intended!) ecosystems in business school (now thinking of writing a new business book: Everything I learned about management, I learned from AD&D).  Thanks Gary, and I'm sorry my resurrection spell failed this time...

T'was some day in Noctember, the year was 2007 and the Praized dev. team was hacking away with no mercy at defenseless lines of rails code; showing no pity for the agile little framework. At the same time, an intricate network of micro-conversations was sporadically chittering accross the room's acoustics when at some point: an idea evolved!
