Time to release the inner geek in me. Even though I'm known as the marketing guy at Praized Media (I'm actually the product guy, but I digress...), I did spend most of my teenage years playing Advanced Dungeons & Dragons in my friends' basements. I have very fond memories of the camaraderie happening around the game table.

So, it was with sadness that I learned of the passing of Gary Gygax, the game's creator. I owe this game (and this man by extension) a lot as this is where I learned to become a savvy business strategist. Don't believe what people are telling you! You don't learn to quickly analyze multiple concurrent events and make sense of chaotic (no pun intended!) ecosystems in business school (now thinking of writing a new business book: Everything I learned about management, I learned from AD&D). Thanks Gary, and I'm sorry my resurrection spell failed this time...
